I haven't posted in a very very long time.

Katherine has convinced me though and I'm really excited to write in my live journal again. I realize it is a really interesting forum. I like reading peoeple's daily thoughts, and it has much better content then myspace and facebook, etc. I miss checking my friends page and seeing people jumbled thoughts.

My summer started out kind of slow. And I felt like it would drag on forever and I would get really bored. But things are starting to look up and I'm keeping myself busy and content. My job starts next week (I will be a busgirl at a restaurant), I'm excited.

Today I went to the dentist-he loves my teeth. I love his office, nothing has been changed since about 1970 and it's nice. Not that I was there in 1970, but you can tell. I like the cabinets. They are old but very pretty. Dentists make good small talk, or atleast mine does.

My teeth were pretty groovy.
Then I went home.
I watch Girl, Interrupted. I had never seen it. It was good, I enjoyed it. The first scene was my favorite. I always like my Wynona.

I also watercolored a little picture that I drew. It looks pretty. It's of a girl getting her hair pulled.

I ate dinner with my dad. We had lots of chicken and ribs.

I'm leaving today for Vermont and camp and ahh I'm so happy! Have a great summer and be happy and carefree.

there's something about listening to "strawberry fields" over and over that makes me so happy. It just makes me smile and love summer. I'm just sitting here rolling around in my comforter listening to it on repeat...ah.

I find myself always walking around my house draped in a blanket, I just sort of pick up a blanket in every room and walk around with it and then like lay down when I get tired. That's what I love about summer, and I just sat in my kitchen chair with a blanket around me eating chocolate ice cream, mm.
Last night Katherine and I went to the concert in the park and we saw Vusi and Ladysmith Black Mambazo. The VIP section treated us well except that we had to wait on a line, and VIP's don't do lines.
Today I took my dad out to lunch on Smith st. yea.

last night I went to see Los Lobos in the park, it was so much fun, the entire park was standing up dancing and like salsaing and my dad has VIP passes for the whole season so we got special treatment and free shirts and food, yea!

my family and I were eating outside in our backyard peacefully when all of a sudden this loud jewish music started playing and people started screaming and chanting from a few gardens away. There is like an orthodox Jewish engagement party apparently and they are going wild. The music has been playing for hours, and now they are playing rap, but hebrew rap, it's quite amazing.

I made orange juice pops, like I used to make when I was 5.
It was fun.
It reminded me of the summer. But when my brother and I were trying to pry them out we couldn't do it, so my dad had to do it for us.
Then I dropped my first one on the floor and then the second one two!
So I sat on my porch eating the broken peices of orange juice pops. I love spring.

At around 6:00 I decided I really needed to make smoothies.
So I put on my rollerblades and went to the fruit store to buy fruit.
I mean I rollerbladed there...it was such a thrill, who rollerblades anymore? It is so convenient.
I bought bananas, peaches, pears, strawberries, and a mango.

i love just having a weekend to do nothing but rest
yesterday after track meet I went to an art gallery opening with fam
ate mexican and watched old british sitcoms with my brother

today I woke up ate ceral went to tribeca film festival with liza walked over bridge went to jaque torres and then ate dinner and watched singing in the ran...such a good movie

now I'm going to eat ice cream and watch more old movies

I just need to go to sleep, that's all.
i need to cuddle in my blankets and think and fall asleep.
the day is so long and so much and agdah bagdah.

Where doe time go these days?
seriously it was about 5 like an hour ago and now it's 8...it doesn't make any sense. Crazy day lights savings.
track meet was a little wacky today.
But after i went with alice to pick out dress for her and sat in corner of dressing room in bloomingdales in $300 dress that i wasn't going to buy but was really pretty and ate my lunch and spent so many hours talking.
on the train this kid sat next to me and started talking to me and it was very awkward but then I saw a really great saxaphone player that was like "BE HAPPY, BE HAPPY THAT IT'S MY STOP ahhaha"
so great

My dad is hanging his spanish sausages with string from a rack in our kitchen like they do in the butchers .asdfsdskfh

I spilled some of my coffee on the train today, and I laughed it off and sort of like shuffled to the side of my seat. This is a very awkward situation, because I was sitting there laughing and everyone else was staring at me.
Awkward situations are so wonderful, because feeling awkward is such a funny feeling.

i'm tired and it's like 8 o' clock but I really want to go to sleep. My eyes are sore from being open, they should be shut. I'm still in my track clothes, because I haven't changed and i should shower, but I won't. I'm sore and cold and I want the summer.

It's 9:52. Sometimes I have to make an agenda for the night so that I do stuff, or else I just end up sitting in some corner of my room thinking and I never do anything. I always end up sitting and thinking when I should be doing stuff.
okay here is my agenda:
1. put all assorted papers and stuff in folder
2. put all my stuff in my backpack, it always makes me feel cluttered when it's lying around everywhere
3. put colored pencils away, they are everywhere ahdfj
4. put on pj's
5. brush teeth
6. wash face
7. take watch/necklace/everything on my body off
8. then i can think

i'm such a loser.
